Let us see some NOUNS to describe ABILITY (to understand or react to something) , a general FEELING or UNDERSTANDING (of something), a particular SENSATION or AWARENESS( of something) and PERCEPTION.
A sense is a faculty (Ability) by which the body perceives an external stimulus(something that causes Growth or Activity).
Our Faculties are nothing but our inherent physical and mental abilities.We have a natural ability to hear,see,think and move etc whereas a special ability is used to do a particular thing.
1) SENSE
A) Many people survive in jobs that they detest.They wake up with a sense of dread and they yearn for the weekend.
SENSE of something = A feeling or an understanding about something.
