Phrasal verbs are extremely important and very common in conversations.

1.WALK ALONG (SOMETHING)
Meaning :Move forwards or continue to progress on foot from one end to the other end of something.
Examples
1.He walked along the street until he reached the postoffice.
2.They went for a romantic walk along the beach.
2.WALK AWAY (FROM SOMEONE/SOMETHING)
Meaning:To leave someone or something by walking;
to leave a difficult or unpleasant situation or relationship instead of dealing with it.
Examples:
1.Jim is not committed and walked away from the parental responsiblity.
2.When I saw him,he quickly walked away.
3.WALK UP TO (SOMEONE OR SOMETHING)
Meaning :To approach or come upto someone or something on foot.
Examples
1.Jim walked up to the clerk and enquired about the cheque.
2.He walked up to the door to answer the bell .
4.WALK UP SOMETHING
Meaning:to ascend something on foot:
to walk the length of something.
Examples
1.He can walk up five flights of stairs without any difficulty.
2.He walked slowly up the hall.
5.CLIMB UP (SOMETHING)
Meaning: to go towards the top of something;
To climb something such as a ladder,hill,mountain,tree means to move towards the top of it;
Examples
1.Jim climbed up the rope.
2.She climbed up the hill in two hours.
3.He climbed up the ladder.
4.John climbed up the stairs.
6.CLIMB DOWN (SOMETHING)
Meaning:To descend
Examples
1.She climbed down the stairs.
2.The thief climbed down the drainpipe and ran away.
3.Would you please climb down the ladder and help me?
7.GET IN (A VEHICLE)
Meaning:To enter a vehicle such as car,van,truck ,taxi
Examples
1.We got in the car and went for a ride.
2.Please get in the van.
3.She got in the taxi and went home.
8. GET OUT OF (A VEHICLE)
Meaning:To leave a closed vehicle such as car,van,truck,taxi
Examples:
1.She banged her head while getting out of the taxi.
2.The policeman commanded the driver to get out of the truck at the checkpost.
9.GET ON (SOMETHING)
Meaning:To board a bus,train,airplane
Examples
1.Jim got on a number 21 bus at the terminus.
2.She got on the train at Grand Central Station.
10.GET OFF (SOMETHING)
Meaning:To leave a bus,train,airplane
Examples
1.Jack got off at Grand Central Station.
2.She got off at the wrong stop and had to take another bus to reach her destination.
3.He got off the bus.
